Band members
Gregg has played professionally in Chicago and Seattle for over 40 years. In addition to composing and arranging, Gregg has accompanied singers, worked with big bands, done cabaret/theater work and taught jazz and classical piano.
Marty is a native of Chicago and is a founding member of the Jump Ensemble. Playing a variety of musical styles, he has worked with bands since college - playing, composing and arranging.
Mark has been playing in Seattle since the late 70's. He has played in the jazz, folk and world music scenes and has been known for his work using drum set and instruments like dulcimer, tongue drum and cajon.
James was born in California but grew up here in Washington state. He has played the Portland and Seattle area in big bands, small jazz groups, latin orchestra and a little classical as well.
Ed hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and plays tuba and trombone. Before moving to the Northwest, he played in Ska bands. He was a member of the New Orleans style brass band Tubaluba prior to his work with the Jump Ensemble.
